Imagine...

For some reason, baby J. had a terrible time tummy-wise beginning around 9pm tonight. For no less than an hour, he screamed with no position seeming to do the trick. I had taped American Idol and was watching it back--but mostly had it paused as I tried to soothe him to sleep. Finally, I skipped forward to this performance and it was like a magic potion for J. The minute the opening guitar chords were strummed, his little body relaxed and he stretched out across my lap and immediately went to sleep.

Needless to say, I watched it no less than 10 times to make sure we he was well on his way to Dreamland before I tried to move him to his bed.

The American Idol Lullaby Collection...coming to store near you!

This really was a beautiful pefrormance. Enjoy.

This performance was *magical*. I got teary, and I think you could see near the end that Paula was crying. This boy has a beautiful heart, I hope he does well!

He WAS great, wasn't he? Your little guy has great taste in lullabies.

Bean used to always settle down right away when I put on some Rachel Ray. She still loves her, too. I guess she enjoys peppiness. :)

He worked his magic in your house! :) I think that little girls and moms everywhere are going to fall in love with him. He's just so stinking cute and sweet and seems humble. I was blogging while it was on, so I need to go back and watch it again to fully appreciate it. :)

I agree they saved the best for last! This 17 yr old kid is amazing, I can see him being the final two and at this point he will be my pick for the last one standing. I voted for him 3 times!

Can't wait for the American Idol Lullaby Collection!

Glad that Baby J finally went to sleep, those nights when nothing seems to work are frustrating to say the least! Hang in there Keith will be home soon.
