This morning I awoke
To refreshing drops.............
Kerplunk! Drip, drop, drip......
On the green grass outside my door
Cleansing autumn rain
Cooler temperatures
A slight breeze
ruffles the curtains
My soul rejoices
In the sound of the voices
Of raindrop conversations
Drip, drop, drip
Splatter.....Kerplunk!
On the green grass
Outside my door
A soothing way to start the day..........
